The borders and pallu of every Nilouri saree are worked in zari — fine gold and silver thread woven into the cloth in intricate designs. It is a discipline of patience and precision, passed down through generations.
Each design is composed thread by thread, so that the zari catches the light with a soft, lasting radiance — and no two combinations are ever quite the same.
Generational Handloom Weaving
The loom is the heartbeat of the atelier. Here, master weavers interlace threads of pure yarn with ancestral knowledge, creating handloom Pattu silk of unparalleled drape and lustre — never power-loom, always by hand.
This tactile dialogue between the weaver and the loom ensures that every saree carries the soul of its maker, and arrives complete with its own matching blouse.
